Armed with piercing blue eyes, angular bone structure, the perfect quirky pout and most difficult and fun to pronounce last name, Sasha Pivovarova, is the Russian model who has all the hallmarks of a conventional beauty in a definitively unconventional way. Sasha’s mark as a top model is her ability to work within both friendly commercialism and powerful couture. Sasha transforms and transcends the fashion into a look that is covetable and inspirational. Her unique look has her at number four on Models.com’s Top 50 Models ranking with the likes of Lara Stone, Natasha Poly, Freja Beha Erichson, Anja Rubik, and her rank-mate Karlie Kloss.
Sasha’s modeling career started in 2005 when her photographer boyfriend (now husband), Igor Vishnyakov, introduced her to New York’s IMG agency. She made her debut at Prada’s autumn/winter show as the opener. Shortly after, she became the long-running face of Prada, favorite of photographer, Steven Meisel, and landed countless editorial and campaign shoots including: Vogue Italia, Vogue Paris, H&M, Kenzo, Gap, Miu Miu, Rag & Bone, and Just Cavalli.

MODEL OFF DUTY: SASHA’S STREET STYLE
Sasha is known for sashaying on the catwalk but she shines off the runway as well. Her street style is definitely an inspiration to anyone who sees it. Completely creative and working with her favorite essentials in different ways over and over, she shows the fashion world that an artistic touch to dressing is imperative to style. Is it possible to not die for her amazing use of scarves? We think not.
+ SASHA’S STYLE: Think long, loose, and messy layers, headscarves paired with layered necklaces, statement coats and jackets.
