Although I might not have had the privilege of attending an actual music festival like Bonnaroo or Coachella, I did get to take part in some small, local festivities. Every summer, my home town has a festival to celebrate our unique heritage and foundation. Vendors from surrounding counties set up booths selling handmade or antique goods and charities set up booths to inform the citizens about ways to help the community.
My inspiration was half Boho half pretty. I slaved over the hot glue gun for an attempt at a floral crown, and although it is fragile, I feel so ethereal when wearing my “masterpiece.” The blouse has become a staple in my wardrobe, and after finding it with the tags still on for $16 at a consignment store (with an $88 price tag, mind you), what’s not to love?
