Fat Girl Mad Men Style

So today it was my official day of summer as a free woman. Sort of. I’m done school for the summer! So what better way to celebrate the fact I’m not writing anymore research papers or going to boring lectures but dress in a colourful summer dress and go out to eat sushi and see a movie.

I felt this was appropriate for a date – it’s not too fancy, it’s fun and it’s totally my style. I decided to make it more dramatized by wearing cat-eye glasses.

The dress is on sale at ASOS for merely $30. A steal compared to it’s nearly $70 pricetag. I’ve gotten many compliments from this dress as well.
