Every so often I break out of my monochrome rut and pretty often, actually, I want to dress like I’m a elderly woman stuck in the heyday of her youth. This day these two urges collided into some weird patriotic mish mash.This skirt is so huge and heavy I think it’ll make wearing pants in the winter optional, which is awesome. I got it at the Powell H&M last Tuesday during the last day of the buy-one-get-one sale, and then found it again on Thursday (yes maybe this is why most of my clothes are from H&M) at the Westfield H&M for $12 less. Bah! And a khaki trenchcoat I had gotten for full price a few weeks before and hadn’t worn yet for half off. Apparently, that location is where the trend section goes to die a quiet death, and as a complete cheapskate who fancies things that apparently other people don’t find very appealing, II will be visiting that one quite a bit more.
