So today is my day off and I finally get the chance to update. It seems like it’s been forever! Well, it has been. I’ve been very busy with work because I jus got promoted to manager!! woo-hoo! So I’m trying to take things forward!

Anyway work aside, and onto the clothes. I never realized how great silk is. There is (yet another TED video I’ll mention) this video on TED where this guy talks about silk and how its the FUTURE! I wont go into detail, but I will say its very interesting,especially the uses he speaks on. Either way, I love silk especially vintage silk! This new stuff seems shady to me. but who knows…I could just be paranoid.

For this outfit I was thinking about an editorial I saw in Vogue Nippon several seasons back that was a little sporty tomboyish and a little touch of forties noir a la Veronica Lake.
