This skirt is actually the bottom part of a traditional Malay dress baju kurung (Malaysian readers… can you tell? wink). I love the abstract print so much that I started wearing the skirt outside formal events, pairing it with basic loose fitting tanks and slouchy tees to inject a more casual feel to the whole ensemble.

I did not know it belongs in the traditional Malaysian costume, but the skirt looks awesome by itself! I love the fact that you wore it with a simple tanktop; real chic!
