Sorry for not posting in a while. I am sort of in the middle of a lot of things. Graduation, parents visiting, moving out, traveling, etc. Good thing I am allowed to take weeks off from work.
I graduated on May 27, 2011 from Academy of Art University. You may call me Harry Go, BFA now! You know what’s weird, from where I am from, people are so anal about their degree title. They always want to show their BS’s or BA’s or BFA’s after their names. I don’t really see it here in the state.
Graduating felt kind of weird. It’s like I’ve always been in school since the first time I remembered things (pre-school and/or kindergarten.) Now I’m moving on to the next phase of life. It feels like closing a chapter in a book—you don’t really know what’s going to happen on the next chapter. It’s pretty exciting, if I may say.
Anyway, these are my parents!
They visited me for my graduation and they’re going to stay till the 20th (I know.. Right?) We went to vist the east coast last week. We visited NYC, Philly, Boston and Niagara Falls. I LOVE Boston. I always thought I loved NYC—and yes, it is the center of the world—but there is something charming about Boston and the relaxed manner of the people there. I even noticed that people in Boston walk at a much slower pace than people in NYC. That being said, who knows if in 2-3 years I’d move to NYC or somewhere!
I guess we’ll see what’s ahead on the next chapter of this book.
