A few Sundays back was spent brunching in honor of my mother, since I couldn’t physically be with her. Followed by strolling along the breezy pier, lounging on park benches getting lost in puffs of clouds dotting the blue sky and people watching. Do you ever find yourself people watching and have the sudden urge to run over and snap that moment for them? A mother and a daughter sitting a chatting on a bench, a father flying kites with his two little girls.
It’s those little moments that remind me to slow down and smell the roses. So Sunday was spent smelling the roses. Well that, and dealing with a lack of water in our apartment.
This ensemble was the perfect accompaniment to this “nice little Sunday” – flowy and comfy, with bright splashes of color to match the sea of blue surrounding us.
