Huge floppy hats are great for the summer. They protect your face and shoulders from the sun since they have such a wide brim and cover a lot of skin. These hats are diverse style wise. They can be worn with long maxi dresses in a boho chic look, or you can go totally preppy and formal (think Kentucky Derby). It depends on the material and color of the hat, and if it has any embellishments. If you want something casual, go for a straw floppy hat, or one toned hats. This nautical hat will look great with striped shirts and shorts in the summer. It’s a more retro, so pair it with things like high waisted shorts so you get that vintage feel.
