Wore this outfit to a kiddo birthday party. I love layering tone on tone and playing with different fabric textures. You can’t see the detail in the sequin top because they’re clear on white, but they lend just a touch of sparkle without going disco. Don’t get me wrong, I LOVE a good sparkly item for daytime, however, wasn’t feeling like outshining a one year old. I mean, have you ever met a kid getting his party on? Seriously, you do not want to mess with him. You just might end up getting some chocolate cake in the face with vanilla frosting in your hair. No, thanks! All kid-ding aside, let’s talk about these flared jeans. Couple things to note. One, they make me feel 6 feet tall and two, I didn’t have to hem them—that’s UNHEARD of. Very hard to find pants that fit my 5’ height! When I do come across them, they make it quickly into my closet. Sure, it’s not too difficult to hem, but I like instant gratification. If I buy it, I want to wear it asap.
