Coming up this Thursday on May 19th is this year’s inaugural White Shirt Day, an Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation (OCRF) initiative to garner collective support for this important cause. In Australia alone, one woman dies of ovarian cancer every ten hours.
To support their efforts, Witchery has just launched their 2011 White Shirt Campaign, with the aim of raising funds and awareness for the OCRF. I was lucky enough to receive this classic piece from their limited edition collection, which is available now both in stores and online at witchery.com.au. All of the proceeds from the sale of these shirts go the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation’s vital research endeavours for early detection.
Australians and New Zealanders are invited this Thursday the 19th to show their commitment in the fight against ovarian cancer and prosper vital research by wearing a white shirt and asking people to ’wear it their way with a touch of silver’ (the colour synonymous with the OCRF). I hope you guys will join me then :)
Also, I’ve posted about the leopard boots here.
