This outfit is part of a little styling session/ competition I participated in for the Westfield Mall of Culver City. There were a total of four looks but this was my absolute favorite. I think this was my fave because I added some tweaks here and there to really make this outfit my own.
Tweak #1- the skirt I am wearing is not really as “skirt”. I fell in love with the drape, color and texture of this tube top dress so I decided to wear it as a maxi skirt and tadaa! Totally worked.
Tweak #2- I am usually not one to wear “bling bling” but when I do I like to add a funky vibe to it. I decided to layer and wear 2 of the same style of necklaces for a bolder look.
Tweak #3- I am pretty sure that most of you are aware that BIG clutches are all the rage right now… that is wahy I decided to hold this large chainstrap bag as a clutch, and worked perfectly to make the over all look a bit more dressy.
