Hello everyone!!=) Hope you’re having a great week!=)
May is looking and feeling beautiful so far. Bright and perfect, not warm, not cold. Just perfect.=) And I decided to wear my bright and colourful knits before frying starts.=) Of course I couldn’t (also) wait to wear short shorts and cropped tops and yes, summer slippers! But i’ve learned something this past year, enjoy the season, whatever it is, while it lasts.=) I declared before that I’m a summer girl, i still am. If i am forced to choose I’d choose the sun. But autumn is beautiful, winter is a bit sad but also beautiful, spring is full of hope and yes, summer, the time when everybody decides it’s time to have fun and say “ah..this is the life..”=) So yes, today i officially said goodbye to winter and said hello to spring.=) I was sitting in my computer table this afternoon (facing our window) and i could see the leaves swaying and telling me “yes, you can’t sit there all day! It’s a crime! Go out and live!” So i left my computering (doing lyrics) and wore some of my brightest stuff, kissed my doggies bye bye and skipped my way out of our building and said “Hello sunshine!” =)
One of my top 5 favourite trends this season-COLOUR BLOCKING. Simple and fun. I love loud colours, always have, always will but SS11 makes it easier for me this time as the whole (you know what i mean) world is up for it.=) Maybe it’s still “me against the world” in my city but i am happy a lot of chictopians are enjoying the clours too.=) Like most of my outfits, i really enjoyed this one. (Life is short, i make sure i LOVE what im wearing, not just LIKE it. Sometimes even if im already out of the door if it doesnt feel right, i’d go back and get changed until i’m happy. Maybe that’s why i’m always 15 minutes late! I may not LOVE the outfit everyday but i have to LIKE it at least. Even if i’d be the only one who does!=) Most of the outfits i really enjoy are ones that dont sell much, my sisters, for example dont get excited about them simply because hey cant imagine themselves wearing them. And when they’re not orgasmic about what im wearing, that’s when i know i’m wearing the right thing!=) So yes, nothing complicated but these two are one of my favourite colours of all time. And wearing them together felt really great. =) Hope you like it.=)
So yep, went out and met the man in the French cafe. He continued his computer work and i did my sketching. Most of my outfits are copied from my sketch pad.=) Great afternoon, we decided to go back there again tomorrow.=)
