Another 90’s inspired outfit. I pulled this pretty crushed velvet frock off of my racks to wear on a trip to Ashland, OR, home of the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. If there’s anywhere that’s an appropriate setting for such a textile, I believe it would be this. At one point in our day, a waiter asked if we were working with the theater. Jeff thought it was because I was wearing a scarf, but I’d like to think it’s because I was clad in crushed velvet. Whatever the case, if Shakespeare were alive today, I think he would approve.
