I’m just going to come right out and say this is one of my favorite outfits that I’ve ever worn. And an elderly woman walked up to me and complimented it. I LOVE when that happens! I might have cheated a little bit as far as the “thrifted” requirement goes, but I don’t really think I did. I say that for two reasons: (1) the dress I’m wearing as a top came from Crossroads, which doesn’t call itself a thrift store, but this dress was used when I bought it and I traded some of my clothes for it, and (2) Hillary gave me this belt a long time ago and I’m pretty sure she originally found it at Quality Thrift, but I don’t know for sure; either way it belonged to someone else before me. Ugh, I write WAY too many sentences using the coordintating conjunction “but.” I’ve been noticing that in my blog posts. I don’t know what it means…I guess that I make a lot of excuses? I’ll try to stop, but I don’t know if I can. Oh. Whoops.
