I’m in a bit of a “mood” so please excuse the upcoming rant…
I know I’m small (5’1") and get treated quite rudely because of this, but it reached new heights today. I’ve been called “little one” and “little Rebecca” by co-workers, but today one of them called me “little girl!” What?! Since when is it appropriate to call a 21 year old co-worker little girl? Guess what, I do think it’s condescending and rude! Further, I have yet to hear you call someone “tall Rebecca” or “large Rebecca” or “big one”—so please quit with the double standards!!!
Okay, rant over. I feel better.

sigh. I know how you feel! I'm 4'11" and I get rude and patronizing comments all the time..it really does put you in a bad mood. My coworker called me a "midget supermodel" the other day and told me to take it as a compliment. JERKS!
