I had a blast at Coachella, well watching Coachella… but still it was great! And since then I have been searching far and wide for all the great outfits everyone wore. Here are some of my picks for the most inspirational Coachella outfits, just in time for summer concert season…
Whether you love him or you hate him, you have to admit yeezy pulled this off. Kanye West pulled off this womenswear shirt for the last performance of Coachella. It was from the Celine spring/summer 2011 collection. He made it more masculine by paring it with ripped jeans and and long chains.
One of my favorite looks was Regine Chassagne’s, songstress from Arcade Fire. Her short sleeved, flapper style dress was perfect for the night. The gold sequins covering the dress made her light up on the stage. Here’s a better look of the dress. If you want a similar sequined style, try this dress from Nordstroms.
Jenny Lewis from the duo Jenny & Johnny took to the stage with this retro inspired ensemble. Her short romper was the perfect way to beat the heat while on stage while at Coachella. To get a similar vintage look pair this polka dotted romper from Urban with these oxfords.
Although its not very festival friendly, they guys from Mumford & Sons (title picture, bottom) sure know how to put together an outfit. Their signature look is quite modern with a touch of country influence. To get their look guys, find yourself a great pair of jeans and pair it with white button down and beat up boots. Add a belt with a statement buckle and a vest on top of the shirt and you’ll be looking like one of the guys from Mumford.
The typical festival outfit, tank top and some short shorts, is a great go to for hot days. Kate Bosworth (title image, left) made it all her own. She paired a faded American flag tee with fresh white cropped shorts. She accessorized with lots of bracelets and suede (?) flats. Her look screams California cool. Try this American flag tee and these white shorts with your favorite bohemian accessories for an instant festival look.
Victoria’s Secret model Alessandra Ambrosio was seen out and about in Indio last weekend. She rocked the typical bohemian festival look. She paired a colorful, fringe adorned scarf with a delicate nude tank dress and some slouchy boots. Getting this look is easy! This dusty pink dress from Forever 21 and this colorful scarf from Tarnish will have you looking like Alessandra in no time.
British style icon Alexa Chung always has amazing outfits for us. Her sweet festival look is a nice break from all the bohemian looks we’ve been seeing. It is simple and easy to attain. This sleeveless lace dress from Forever 21 is simple and sweet, just like Alexa’s. Pair it with these Report sandals and minimal jewelry to attain your inner Alexa.
Nicole Richie, who frequents the bohemian style, worked a shirt from Mulberry. This intense animal print shirt paired with some denim shorts and black wedges was a simple, but amazingly stylish Coachella outfit. The black wedges she wore were from her own House of Harlow line. And the Mulberry top is available through the link.
