Hello everyone!!! =)
First, thank you so very much for supporting the “BREAKFAST”.=) It was a bit silly and i really thought it wont sell but it looks like I’m not alone in really enjoying fashion.=) Because for me, (even though i do take it seriously in the sense that i make it my business to pass my own standards), fashion means having fun with your clothes. Like what i wrote a thousand posts ago, it’s supposed to be fun! Whether you’re still in the beginning of your fashionable journey or in the middle or at the end, it has to be fun! I dont know, maybe i look at my wardrobe in a different way. I played “boy games” when i was a child but i did play with paper dolls.=) Anyway, so yes, thank you very much for being with me in making a fool of myself!!!! =) Which is always….FUN!! =)
But today is a little bit serious, ladylike and pretty and vintage with a little drop of “ME” with the beret.=) Kidding aside, this is my outfit for the “Wear Red, Wear Hope” campaign and i hope you like it. I made the mistake of watching a couple of videos of the tragedy and i’m like my mum, i no longer watch news because it just depresses me. And this one is not the usual bad and ugly news. This is nature. One of the few things i am truly scared of. The times when we are reminded that we are helpless, no matter how modern/high tech, clever we are. No matter how many we are. We’ve been flying faster and higher than the birds and been to the moon and everything, but when nature strikes, we are…well, we’re in big trouble. There are only 2 good things i try to focus on when these terrible things happen. First, it sort of keeps my feet on the ground. I’m just human, i am great (compared to my Poodle who dont even have the capacity to plan anything for the next 5 minutes.) but i am not that important, i am just an accident. (Not that my mum didn’t plan to have me, some of you would understand what i mean by saying accident.) Second- No matter how devided the world is, no matter the differences, when our neighbor is in trouble, we’re there. We care. I may not believe in some things but i believe in humanity, that “human” thing to want to help, to want to do something. And i know we are not the Bill Gates or the Mark Zuckerbergs of the world but it still feels good to have the chance to show we care. We cant do much but we care and thanks to Chictopia for giving us that chance.
I love what I am wearing but i wasnt walking around today thinking i looked nice. I was thinking, it’s a small thing, but, this is for Japan….
Have a good Friday everyone….
