So it’s technically not summer. But summer gods paid a visit to San Francisco this week, probably in pity of the miserable spring we’ve had up to this point. It’s been raining. Not just drizzles but showers and storms. Not just water falling straight from the sky but + 15mph wind. What this translates to is, no matter what you wore walking on the street, you’d get wet because rain will come at at 45 degree angle to get you. And forget about wearing heels. Wedges maybe, but not more than 4 blocks.
Enough about the past.
This week has been beautiful in San Francisco.
I bought this vintage dress during my last trip to Austin and I was so amazing how great vintage shopping was down there. My guess is that rent is cheaper so the mark up on each item did not have to be so high for stores to make a profit. Vintage necklaces for $5, dresses for $12. I came back with a suitcase full of good stuff. I’m also happy about this dress because it goes well with my Chie Mihara shoes I bought from Cross Roads last summer. My poor precious suede Chie Mihara sandals, you weren’t meant for the rainy San Francisco streets.
