I can't really see the top of it, whether it has sleeves or not...if not, and you are handy with a sewing machine, you could unpick the strap and add in a panel of black fabric to extend it a bit...would change the style somewhat, but would add some length? to be honest, looks fantastic as it is!

Trendy Style, best suited for a BBQ Party
Nov 08, 2008

I bought this vintage shirt online and have been eagerly awaiting it’s arrival all week. It finally showed up yesterday and I immediately put it on. Unfortunately, I soon realised my original plan to wear it as a dress wasn’t going to work. For today, I chucked a slip underneath and wore it as a sort of oversize top/minidress… It semi-works like this, but I feel it’s not living up to it’s true potential (yes, I talk about my clothes as if they’re people). I love the print (zebra stripes = Balmain, and you can’t go wrong there), so I want to do something with it, I’m just not sure what. Any suggestions?

P.S. My ring collection is growing!

P.P.S. I promise to stop wearing this blazer. I realise it’s waaaaaaaaay overworn!
