With a matter of minutes before I was due to dash out the door to work I pulled together this simple back up of a work outfit…
For winter, this recipe basically consists of:
+ summery basic (ie: dress, skirt/singlet)
+ tights
+ cardigan/blazer/coat
+ a few simple accessories (jewellery/belt/scarf)
+ shoes
+ bag (usually the one that already has all the stuff in it!)
I think this is a pretty good recipe to follow when you are on a deadline.
Of course, it’s not making any fashion break-throughs or pushing any boundaries; but if you feel cute + comfy and not like you want to run home and change every five minutes, then it has done it’s purpose.
Although I am usually one to throw a bunch of ingredients in a bowl, mix them up + hope for the best; sometimes it helps to have a few simple recipes to follow.
I reckon I learnt that one from Mum. Thanks Mum.
