There is a plethora of online shops so it’s hard to find the best places to buy the cutest things from. Luckily for us, some of our amazing Everybody is Ugly contributors told me their favorite indie online shops, and even handpicked some items for us! So read on to learn where these stylish writers shop…
Catherine is a fan of the vintage shopping store SadieBess on Etsy. She “doesn’t have the patience to scour thrift stores for one-of-a-kind finds,” so Catherine, “turns to Etsy to lust over well curated shops stocked with dreamy sundresses.”
Her pick from Sadiebess is this orange peasant skirt with lovely diamond detailing and rick rack trim. She didn’t pick it up yet since it isn’t in her size, so it’s up for grabs!
Amethyst, or Purplewang is a big fan of ASOS the British retailer we all know and love. In terms of smaller stores she likes Thriftwares for all their cute vintage finds.
“Their stuff also doesn’t get too pricey considering it’s an eBay store,” Amethyst said, “I’ve spent many a happy PayPal dollars there!”
Style icon Kaitlyn frequents Salvation Army usually. But she is planning to buy from these shops when spring comes around!
First up is Buy Definition.com this website sells Lorick, the mock designer for Eleanor Waldorf on Gossip Girl, which is how Kaitlyn found it. She loves this Lorick Taylor Ann jacket dress , “It reminds me of An Education!" says Kaitlyn. She also likes these Stolen Girlfriends Club Rock Lobster Riding Pants . She likes that “ the lobster print appears only the front, and in the back it’s black.”
She is also a fan of the blogger favorite Romwe . “It has a twist to every style, and the products are unique,” Kaitlyn said. This pink chiffon dress
is her pick from Romwe, along with these blue & funky tights .
Blogging duo Iris and Daniel adore Timeless Vixen Vintage on Etsy. “They’ve got a lot of really amazing vintage dresses,” they said, “ a lot of them are classic 50s silhouettes which we love."
SenseofFashion.com is her other pick. “It’s like ‘ebay’ for local & indie designers to showcase and sell their work,” Crystal said. They sell everything from handmade goods to vintage pieces so go check them out!
Okay, last but not least my pick! I came across this site and I fell in LOVE with everything on there. I’m a sucker for jewelry and, The Vamoose has great pieces. Everything is handcrafted by a British Artisian, and they all have this great bohemian feel.
My pick is this turquoise pendant which is really versatile and can layered with multiple necklaces, and these gemstone and metal bracelets which are also great for layering. I love how the jewelry on this site is affordable too!
So know you know some of our picks, share some of your own in the comments!
