Do It Yourself: Flower Fedora

Hello lovely chictopians! Spring is in bloom! And this spring, flowers are showing up everywhere!
Yes, even on your cutest fedora! (And you thought it couldn’t get any cuter?)*

This DIY is sure to put some spring in your step and your hat!

MATERIALS: Hat (I used a fedora, but any hat will work), Store bought flower clip ( I bought mine from Forever 21 in hair accessories) or any mesh flower, and a safety pin.

I wanted to do a DIY that everyone could do. If you’re like me, you probably already have these materials lying around your house! Hooray for saving money!

NOTE: If you decide to use a flower clip, make sure that hat you use has a band around it, or it’s a woven hat. This is so you can clip the flower onto something.

STEP 1
NOTE: If you use a store bought flower clip, you can skip this step!

The first thing you need to do is fasten the safety pin to the mesh flower. (Simple as that!)

STEP 2
Attach the flower clip, or the safety-pin flower (from Step 1) to the hat. It looks best to place it on one side of the hat near the front (so it can be seen). You can fasten it to the band on the hat, or to the hat itself.

NOTE: Gluing the flower to the hat might secure it better, but I pinned it to the hat so it can be detached!

Voilà! You now have your very own flower fedora!

STEP 3
Style your flower fedora any way you choose! And don’t forget to take pictures in your new look for Chictopia!

Thanks for reading lovely chictopians! I hope you enjoyed my DIY and I hope you enjoy your flower fedora!
Happy Spring everyone!

cupcakes and sprinkles,
