Ombre hair is still très chic, but the trend to try this season? Soft streaks of color in light, springy hues. Seen from the runway to the street, this style can look girly or edgy—and it’s so easy to get the look yourself.

As Seen On: The Runway
The colorful hair trend was seen on both the SS11 and, more recently, FW11 runways—most memorably on pink-locked model Charlotte Free at Richard Chai. Also seen at: Meadham Kirchoff, Tracy Reese, Prabal Gurung, Fendi, and Jeremy Scott.
As Seen On: The Blogs
Street-style bloggers snap themselves and others rocking the look. Hanneli Mustaparta wore a bright blue hair parting, and also caught pictures of models Agnete Hegelund and Katie Shillingford with cotton-candy pink do’s. Tallulah Morton was seen in a turquoise blue dip-dyed style. A stylish lady with curly pink hair was caught on the Cosmo UK Fashion Blog. Everyone’s favorite scene-queen, Audrey Kitching favors pink hair as well.
