that dress is amazing!! so creative!!may i ask how you got the dress to be so full and lifting on the bottom? i'm looking through dress patterns at the moment because i wanna make my own dress fo casual wear, but i'm having trouble finding patterns that will give me this effect!!

yea, getting volume is a pretty hefty task. but since we used paper, the paper naturally gave it the perky shape. but i would suggest using tulle beneath the skirt or some kind of tough material to give it the flair it needs. GOOD LUCK!

This is the second outfit for the fashion show my roommate and I are designing for. It’s basically pieces of newspaper strips hand sewn to a cloth base.
