I honestly have no idea what I was thinking with this picture.
The dress was sewn by my grandmother around 1965. It’s using Merimekko fabric, which is awesome. It’s actually an a-line type thing, truly adorable. I liked the more bohemian feel with the belt for today but I may use it without the belt soon. Thanks, Granny. :)
Yes, it’s those tights again. The 75¢ ones. Goodwill never ceases to provide.
And the fish? He’s made of wood and was carved in the San Blas islands of Panama. We bought him from the native fishermen — the Kuna — while we lived there. My mother named him “Mr. Fish.” Sigh. I wonder about the originality of my family sometimes.
