What is it with me and unintentionally mismatching patterns? I keep doing it without thinking and I only realize it after the fact.

About the hat: It was 99¢ from Goodwill and I estimate it to be about 60-70 years old at the very least. The label sewn on the inside (“original from ‘Mr. Josephs’ (New York)”)looks to be from the early 1900s and is very faded and stained. I won’t wear fur that isn’t vintage or a hand-me-down, I’m against new fur. But antiques are a whole different story.

The total cost of this outfit was about $15 total. Huzzah for discounts, Goodwill (those tights were 75¢!), and hand-me-downs…
