Here’s to my outfit.
The dress is abloom: bursting into flowers; all shades of emitted light. red, yellow, violet, blue, green. I will call this vintage dress my garden gown. The speckled flowers, and ebbing flow remind me of picnic days, and the Summer’s air. It would be a shame to keep the garden gown unspoken for during the winter.
To protect my skin from wild winter, I wore thick thermal tights, a cozy knitted sweater, and hidden wool socks. To bring me good fortune, I wore my mom’s emerald-splattered gem necklace. Sometimes the gems are camera shy. Playing hide and seek during photo shoots, leaving you with only the golden backside.
