This is a mint green lace halter dress from my Spring 11 collection. I LOVE lace, I designed most of my Spring collection out of lace & eyelet lace. It is crazy to think that lace used to be handmade, like if you look at lace closely, there is so much detail but into it. Nowadays, lace is made with machines, but even still, really expensive laces are super intricate and detailed. I think lace is so feminine and romantic. I am glad it is finally getting a little warmer in California so I can wear my Spring collection dresses. I wore this dress out to Valentine’s dinner with my boyfriend & his brothers+their girlfriends the other night. We went to a Thai restaurant, it was so cute. We went on a little romantic getaway to Carmel this weekend, I was glad to get away from all the fashion madness going on back home.
While all the designers in NY have been stressing out and preping for their NY fashion week shows, I have been stressing out on the west coast about fashion shows I am suppose to show my line in in CA. I have had the most ridiculous fashion show catastrophes happen to me in the past 2 weeks. I am so glad I was able to get away this weekend and relax. I am currently working on my Bird by Alyssa Nicole Spring/Summer 11 collection to put into stores, so I have been super busy with that.
If you love lace as much as I do, check out my Spring 11 collection, it is packed with pretty scalloped laces, floral eyelet laces, and stretch lace. :)
