My Mercedes Benz Fashion Week in New York started off with the Perry Ellis Fall 2011 Collection. Perry Ellis continues to awe us with outfits that I personally would love to pick up for my husband. If you’re looking for the perfect cool, collected, comfy and yet very classy look for your guy, Perry Ellis got all those 4 Cs! Perry Ellis continues to give us that sleek look that guys can wear from day to night, corporate to casual, weekday to weekend, geeky to sexy and so on.
The notable colors for Perry Ellis Fall 2011 collection are shades of camel or brown, shades of gray and forest green. I’m glad to see that camel coats will continue to grace our Fall and Winter seasons this year. At the same time, the shades of grays and forest greens are the perfect combination to camel and brown hues – combining modern and urban with earthy and warm colors.
Of course, we have to give it to them for coming up with great accessorizing such as the wool hats, gloves and scarves that go well with all the outfits. Some of the notable pieces that struck me were the plaid coats, chunky cable knits and vests for the fashionable guy who manages to keep his cool.
