Beret Yo'Self

First off, apologies for the stupid look on my shiny face. This picture was taken at around midnight after a long day of work and dinner with friends and volunteering at a local theatre. I didn’t touch up anything all day and I was crazy tired so I look like the hottest of messes.

Let’s also point out that it’s hard to look good when it’s this blizzardly cold outside. I had hat hair, I was cold, but sweating because of going in and out of doors, constantly peeling off layers and then putting them back on. In this picture I am wearing two pairs of tights, a tank top, an opaque dress, a sheer dress, a cardigan, a jacket, a scarf, a necklace, AND a hat. What the hell?

Whoever said chic was effortless never lived in Chicago…

…but it’s worth it.
