Good day?=)
Mine’s cold. =( We are in the middle of our winter (Yep, a bit late? Our snow finally fell March last year!!) =) We’re expecting snow this week (and last week too but it came as rain.) and i honestly don’t want it to happen. It’s snowing in the other parts of the country (about 3 hours away) and i’m sure it looks really nice out there, but snow in the city (ours anyway) is nasty. It’s only beautiful for the first 15 minutes. =( So yes, it’s freezing right now and I didnt go out because i really froze my a** off yesterday. The temperature is fine, the wind is just bad.
Anyway, I would like to give you an outfit i wore a few days ago. (I have a few in my archive, some are even from Dubai and Nov/Dec last year!) And i think I promised you my favourite coat but we’ll do that next time.=) I wore this to lunch with Diddy then hot chocolate afterwards. I sat sketching some outfits (Yep, all my outfits lately are planned and so i can finish all the key pieces i want to wear this season. 1-3 new items mixed with some old favourites or basics. If i dont do this, i will be wearing the same piece(s) everyday.) while he worked on his computer. And today I give you 2 new ones, my cape and my hat.=) Cape is vintage which i bought 3 years ago which i had altered (it was a bit longer). I love it because, well, it’s a cape, it’s grey, and it’s vintage! =) The hat is custom made. I designed it and had it done by a humble hat maker here. He has a tiny space/box he calls a store somewhere outside the city where he makes hats for our hat loving old ladies (yep, so you can say I am now officially a member of the club!). =) There is a bow in the back and i will show you a shot of it next time. =) (But you can sort of see it in the last photo here.) =)
That’s it really. Off to check your looks then have dinner (fish) then movie night (Diddy and I and one of my sisters and yes, the dogs, are currently watching Pillars of the Earth. A mini series based on a book. We’d rate it 8 1/2 out 10.) =)
