Longing for Fall

It’s warm today. Of course, warm in Chicago at this time of year means anything above zero and not terribly windy. This allows me to wear a coat that isn’t down past my knees and apparently to do my best Marnie Stern squat.

I bought the sheer top at H&M the other day. I bought it a few sizes too big to wear as a dress over a few of my basic dresses. As usual my super quick photos between meetings and paper writing didn’t really capture how babydoll the look really is. But, dammit, it’s warm, but it’s not THAT warm, I’m not going to stand out in the cold for long enough to get the perfect shot (though I commend those that do, I wish I had your commitment.)
