The Classic Man’s White Shirt
Everyone who has seen Uma Thurman in Pulp Fiction will be able to relate to why I love Men’s Shirts! Wasn’t she just the sexiest in a man’s white shirt and black trousers? She totally put heroin chic back in the market and I have not yet seen anyone dance the twist so crazily but still look magical due to that iconic white shirt!
That being said, my Sunday mass and Sunday night dinner outfit was inspired by her fabulous outfit as Mia Wallace. I wanted to keep things simple, classic and fresh thus the minimal accessories and the subtle tan accents.
This bag was my very first Louis Vuitton gifted by my dad back in 2005 or 2006. It’s a monogram LV Deuville Bag and it’s been my bag of choice for almost 2 years in college… every single day!
I missed dressing down. My school outfits were very classic and crisp. No frills. No exaggerations. Just added one of a kind accessories to the white tee black legging combo! My closet is made up of 30% white shirts!
Also, i experimented with my hair and it ended up wonderfully in a loose bun with a poufy top! I used only hair pins for this then added a cloth hairband to make it stand out but I am sooo happy I got the result I was aiming for! I plan to do it this way for as long as I can! Getting a haircut tomorrow though! Until then! XOXO
