After a long day of Christmas shopping me and the bf stumbled upon this great photo spot so we took full advantage. I paired this rad vintage men’s shirt with my Evil Twin leggings and Steve Madden platforms. I got a chance to wear my 90s sunglasses as well which pretty much topped off the look for me.
I would say my eye for style is definitely unique. The main component of my style that describes me and who I am is incorporating vintage clothing into my new clothing purchases. I always have at least one piece of vintage clothing on and I think it expresses me perfectly. I have this longing for previous eras, especially the 60s, and when I wear vintage I can feel the aura of the era. I encompass the era and bring it to present time with my crazy platforms or hair. Aside from the vintage aspect, which many share with me, I don’t have one particular style I stick to and I think it’s because I can appreciate all of it. One day I’ll wear my black ripped jeans with my vintage band t-shirt and Doc Martins and the next day I’ll wear a dress with my Litas. The beautiful thing about expressing yourself through your clothing is that you can be whoever you feel like that day. If you feel gungey, be grungey, if you feel girly, be girly, if you feel high fashion, live it. Every day when I get dressed I have a lot of fun pairing separate items that come together to make one cohesive outfit. The outfit usually has contradicting styles and colors, but somehow just works. I think I could bring a great variety and spice to blowfish as an editor and I think what would help me to be successful is my admiration for all walks of style. Not only can I relate to pretty much anyone’s style but I’ll have a passion for it as well. Fashion and vintage are my life (hence my online vintage clothing store) and to be an editor at Blowfish would bring it into my life in yet another way, giving me much happiness and fulfillment. :)
Why should flannel just be on your back? With these super chic (and comfy) Houston boots were bringing flannel to places you never thought you’d see it.
