there’s a certain skirt i’ve been wearing around the city that’s been getting me some compliments. im in love with bondage skirts, right now, but this high waisted, double banded skirt is still my favorite.
my awesome friend stacy has recently launched her first line at home. i remember when she first came up with the name GLASNOST during the height of mega-stress insanity i.e. IBH history internal assessment back in high school. we both admired gorbachev for perestroika, and more specifically, glasnost..so she conceptualized this whole idea of freedom also in clothes in the way the separates are worn and can be worn in a myriad of ways. she says it much better than i do, but you can check her out on chictopia as well: http://www.chictopia.com/user/blog/glasnost
she has a gorgeous line of jersey dresses, jumpsuits, sheer tops, bondage skirts, bubble skirts.. and i think she’s doing a ton of some shiny leggings for fall/winter. haah ok so we dont have fall winter at home, but im still wearing her stuff for fall/winter here. this photo was taken in my house as i was lying around on the floor, refusing to pack for my flight. my mother caught me being lazy in CLUB CLOTHES that showed my bra so stacy and i made the excuse of us shooting looking at how her clothes photographed. she ended up using an edited version of this photo for her line :)
