Lately, I have a knack for finding church lady dresses from the early 90’s. This navy blue number is one example. It fits pretty much amazingly and actually has some shape to it so you don’t really need to belt it. My favorite part is the scallop-like detailing at the neckline. Not to mention there are shoulder pads too, but I covered them up today seeing as it was quite chilly and blustery.
To avoid looking too early-90’s-churchwear-ish, I added the zebra print cardigan. It adds a little bit of interest to an otherwise plain dress. Then I layered on my brown tweed jacket – mostly for warmth, but I liked how it looked after I put it on! Still, the outfit needed a bit of color so I clipped a red bow in my hair. I can’t seem to stay away from the red lately! It’s just such a great color!
I’ve had these sunglasses for years and years now. Want to guess where I got them? The dollar store. Seriously. I picked them up before big sunglasses came back in style and they’re still going strong!
December is here and so is cold weather! I hope everyone is staying warm!
