Once again, I present to you an outfit that is entirely second-hand! In fact, with a few rare exceptions, most everything in my wardrobe is used.
The Skirt
I bought the full rusty maroon skirt at a local vintage clothing store, Miss Ruth’s Time Bomb, for just $17.00. I love the swishy 1950’s silhouette, and the color was simply made to be worn during fall.
The Vest
The embroidered gold vest was a gift from my aunt. Worn in the days of her youth, she never used it anymore, but kindly passed it on to me.
The Tights and Shoes
Both the tights and the shoes were acquired during a clothing exchange. I love the way the brownish mustard and vibrant purple colors contrast together!
The Hat
I purchased the hat at Miss Ruth’s Time Bomb for $15. It’s the perfect mix of fedora and bohemian floppy hat, and the muted olive green color goes with just about anything.
The Jewelry
The bright gold jewelry has been acquired from a number of different locations. I bought the stack of gold bangles at a rummage sale for a few bucks; the necklace is from Miss Ruth’s Time Bomb, and the pyrite ring was handed down to me from my grandmother.
Mwah! Mwah!
