Ok, well obviously this outfit is very simple. I woke up quite late today, and I resorted to putting on the easiest (and first) thing I could find. Not so bad I guess. It’s been a while since I wore this dress anyway. I added my black patent waist belt to add a little life into it. Put on a pair of pumps and red lips, and I felt like Barbie in her earlier years. I’m talking about the Barbie with the high ponytail, pouffy skirts and torso hugging tops. Still, I don’t think I can consider this outfit retro-inspired. I guess it could be like a mix of old and new :) Anyway, may I just say that I need new pumps. My trusty black pumps are way way way worn out. These pumps were my mom’s. As cute as they look, I cannot imagine walking (or even standing) in them for longer than 15 minutes. They hurt like crazy :( Too bad.
