new hairz.. ya dig? I went in last week to get my hair dyed because it’s been 7 months since I’ve had it colored & I realized I was really getting used to the grungy roots so I decided to keep them & ended up getting a perm? I’ve never had a perm before but I showed my stylist a photo of the Olsen’s & said I really wanted something like them. I realize how lame that sounds because this is a contest for Olsenboye but I legit did that before I read about this contest. Actually, what’s legit is I can’t remember if I read about the contest or not before that.. I may have read about it & then subconsciously thought about MK&A when I was telling my hair dresser what I wanted? Either way, I’m rambling & the point of this mess of a paragraph is to be why/how I express love for my favorite city through fashion. New York City has been my favorite city ever since we met on my first visit when I was 13 & I think that New York has such an eclectic bunch of style flowing through it so I guess what inspires me is that whether perusing through Williamsburg, Park Slope, The Lower or Upper East Side.. you’re guaranteed to spot all sorts of different styles & people… & I like that.
