I have a habit of not differentiating or categorizing my clothes. For instance, I don’t have “party clothes”, “work clothes” or “lounge clothes”. I just have clothes. I can wear a ball gown during the day.. Just because. In fact, I wear maxi ball-like skirts with white button up shirts to run errands. Sequins. Gold. Whatever suits my mood.
I have always wanted a tulle skirt. When I think of a tulle skirt, it’s usually a shorter version of what I have on. However, when I saw this maxi piece, It was love at first sight. Had to have it.
I can obviously dress this skirt up elegantly, but I decided to dress it down with my roughed up, old vintage cowboy boots, and denim blazer. Red lips for a flirty touch, though I have a love/hate relationship with red lipstick on me. Stacked bangles and a really thick scarf (not pictured).
The skirt has a very thick jersey lining, so I don’t have to worry about staying warm. I also have on longjohns for extra protection. It was slightly windy in Los Angeles yesterday. Enjoy.. xo
