I hail from the great city of Los Angeles, a hub known for its rich, celebrated differences. For example, graffiti-adorned walls are juxtaposed with the glam of Hollywood. It’s easy to spot working professionals in their pristine and perm-pressed linens and the artsy trendsters in their vintage clothing and accessories among all others who walk the streets of L.A. From where I stand, my personality is best represented as and summed up by ‘odd balances’- I am made up of many varying facets of life and I try to show it by mixing contrastive looks. I think it’s important to feel and look comfortable, but also to incorporate elements of different styles for the purpose of… well, balancing! I am wearing my mom’s vintage yellow sweater (too cozy for my own good thanks to the lack of form) and decided to pair it up with a more structured pea coat. My thrifted messenger bag makes for a great companion when walking all over the place.
