as usual, my outfit was inspired by my favorite fashion capital in the entire world: stockholm, sweden! unfortunately i’ve never been there, but some of the first fashion blogs i ever came across three years ago were swedish, and they helped shape my personal style into what is is today. i really admire and relate to stockholm’s street style for it’s simplicity, clean lines, and preppy meets edgy influences, and i strive to add these ideals to my daily looks because they match my own personal aesthetic.
i love things to be simple, but i have to have that bit of rocker edge in there, and i really show off my style with the little details, all which you can see in the outfit i’m wearing here. i also believe that my penchant for big tops, skinny pants, and chunky black ankle boots comes from seeing way too many swedish girls showing off this same silhouette. basically, i heart sweden! :)
