I love all things floral so when I came across this beautifully colored floral blouse in a thrift shop in Arcadia for $7, I jumped on it. The flowers were sparsely placed and they didn’t conform to a pattern—which I absolutely love. As for the vest, I remember going on a hunt for the perfect (and more importantly, affordable) ones about a year ago. Normally I’d go to Forever 21 to find a fur vest but they didn’t have the right looking ones, or the colors were just off. And of course, high-end brands carried exquisite fur vests but were far out of my reach, especially since I’m a working college student. While I was perusing thrift shops in the O.C., I came across this one for $17! I really liked how it was perfectly spotted light and dark brown, which made it easier for me to pair up with different tops, dresses, cardigans/jackets, etc.
As with the other pieces, the floral skirt you see in the picture(s) was actually a Forever 21 tank top. I decided that it looked much more flattering as a skirt so I altered it accordingly. Thankfully the material allowed for a nice fit as a skirt! The jean jacket from Old Navy was bought on sale for $13, the floral “skirt” was $12, and the bag was $15.
I love finding goods for cheap.
