I attended a fundraiser last night to benefit the Generations Foundation, which aims to provide thousands of undernourished children with hot meals on a daily basis. It was organized by four friends of mine who’s birthdays all happen to be in November. They wanted to do something different this year instead of the usual partying-at-a-club celebration and so they came up with this event. I am so PROUD of them. They raised 4000$ last night and every cent will be going towards feeding a hungry child. So many people that I hadn’t seen in a very LONG time were in attendance so it was sort of like a really big reunion! The finger foods were amazing (sushi included…O M G I could eat sushi, all day, everyday!) and there were a bunch of performances such as break dancing, circus acts and singing. It was overall such a successful night and was so happy to be a part of it! Oh and it was located in such a chic restaurant/bar in the old port of Montreal. The venue was absolutely gorgeous!
I opted for this sweetheart tube top dress, which I thought was perfect for such an occasion. I absolutely love the huge bow on the left side (it’s kind of hard to see in the pics though :(
I wanted to add some edginess through the use of this clutch. Love the chain detailing which mimics this overlapping chain necklace I redeemed from chictopia last week!
Hope you guys had a great weekend!
Thanks for all the sweet comments and votes guys!!! =)
