I’m so in love my with this new cape. I chose really carefully, wanting something that was classic but on trend, and not at all goth-like. Part of me still feels self-concious about wearing it, like I’ve escaped from the pages of a fairytale into a modern world. It was a comfort to wear it into town shopping and spot three other girls in (inferior!) capes looking awesome.
It’s pretty and practical; made of pure wool for warmth, but with a cotton lining to stop the itchies. I love how it ties with a bow at the neck and nothing else. Simple and perfect.
