From Taylor Swift’s new album, which I (shamelessly) listen do 24/7 these days – don’t judge me, I am a 16 year old high school student: what do you expect?
Actually people always think I’m much older than I am, they always ask me which university I study at, what I’m majoring in and I always have to tell them “no, actually I’m still in high school.”
There have even been times no one believes me, they just laugh. And I tell them, yet again, that I (in fact) am 16 years old. But it rarely helps.
Oh well, I don’t mind.
I like being 16, but what I like even more is to be considered older (and hopefully wiser) than I actually am.
This is what I’m wearing today, a snowy look for a snowy day. My vintage DIXI shirt goes so well with my Chanel-inspired, furry coat. It’s trendy, yet soooo cozy.
Someone told me I looked like the future “it girl” a few days ago, I don’t know if I should take this as a compliment or as a warning. I don’t think I am an “it girl”, nor will I ever be one. I’m not the scandal-girl, I only happen to like fashion.
I am 16 years old, I might seem older, I might seem cooler. But I am really just a girl growing up.
And for now, that’s enough for me.
