Hello everyone! =)
I’m sorry but i’m still having computer crisis.=‘( But i promised i’ll be better so now i am in a cafe and pretending i need tea so i can use their WiFi.=)
This is the orange number i promised you weeks ago. I’m sorry for the delay, being on holiday and travelling and now internet problems are making my blog life suffer a bit. But like i said, i may be not posting everyday as i used to but i still dress up everyday and take photos so i can share them to you when things are less complicated. Some outfits havent made it here but you can find them in PANDORA’S BOX but i also make sure all the few (sort of) good ones are uploaded here. =)
Anyway!=) This is an outfit i wore in Dubai, (the “still warm during winter” Dubai) to the 1st day of the 3 day Middle East Fashion Days. Photos will be in Pandora.I think some you know about my obsession with orange which started last spring. And so when i saw these gorgeous velvet trousers at Kenzo (from their AW collection, yes, the colorful and beautiful winter collection!) i had to befriend the manager and asked him to hide the trousers (and the most fabulous grey coat) for me for a week while i raise the funds. They put them on display after i already purchased two other pants. I had $11 left, and that was, sadly, not enough for these orange babies. Most of you believe it is not wise to invest in clothes, better spend the money on shoes and bags. But i’m crazy like that. I like a good piece of clothing, something i can wear with my oldest pair of shoes. And though i have a few shoes and bags and hats and cheap accessories, i have always been a clothes girl. And these pants, i could marry these pants!!! They’re baggy (also done by veronique Leroy and Etro), they’re velvet and they are orange!! Anyway, i think you can tell how much i love these pants, i actually wore them a few times in Dubai. And you know the top (dress actually). These leopard print top(dress) is one of the most useful piece in my closet. So versatile and always, always on trend. Sunglasses are the white versions of my black ones. I had to have them too. A good pair of sunnies can improve a bad hair(mood) day.=) Hat, this is i think my first purchase in Dubai. Zara, Topshop and H&M are the first stores i visit when i travel, and this time Zara was the nearest to our hotel. Again, it’s a hat and it’s orange, end of story.=) The shoes are my first ever Kurt G. pair. I brought a pair of flip flops and my asos skyscraper shoes which i couldnt wear everywhere, that’s it. I brought a small hand carry bag with clothes good for 3 days. I dont think i’m the only one who packs nothing so she can bring home a lot of things. So yes, i needed, i badly needed, a pair. So i searched the biggest mall in the world, Dubai Mall and found these. Too bad you cant really see the details, they’re suede and the heels are amazing and zipper at the back. I have a better photo and will post in Pandora’s Box.=) That’s it, i hope you like it.=)
And thank you, thank you for the nice words you left on my YSL number, you know i think of you when i get ready.=)
And yes, congratulations to our new style icons! Great result! =) And goodluck to the new candidates.=)
