I took photos of this outfit for a guest post on sparrowandurchin.blogspot.com.

I originally had a ballet-inspired photo shoot planned for my guest post. However, the outfit morphed into something entirely different by the time today rolled around! I’m still happy with the outcome, and I think this outfit showcases something I really love about the style blogging community. I’ve only been blogging since this past summer, and even in that short amount of time, I’ve learned so much about myself. Plus, having the support of amazing gals like Lauren has encouraged me to venture outside my comfort zone when it comes to my style. Even though I feel that this outfit screams “Christy!”, I doubt that I would have thought to put something like it together a year ago.

You won't regret it! The skirt makes me feel so romantic and lovely. :) And I'm not wearing a slip under it in these photos, but if I had been doing anything more than just running out for coffee by myself, I definitely would have! (I figured with tights, I could get away with it, but it was *really* sheer in the sun.)
