I think that the outline gives a much more stylized feel to the picture, whereas the no-outline is a little more realistic.I think having the outline makes the outfit stand out more. Just do what is natural to you, though. Whichever fits your drawing style better.

this is lovely!! my heart is especially hurting for those shoes, just wonderful! i like the shadowing too, it definitely adds an artistic edge..you can also use it to play up how you want the fabric textures to look, etc. The outline-style is good too though! go with your instinct: how do YOU want it to look? it is your design after all! :D
